You're doing everything right.. but something still feels off.
Essential oils are highly concentrated plant extracts.
Used correctly, they can become part of gentle daily rituals that support wellbeing, sensory pleasure and cleaner lifestyle.
This guide shares how I personally approach essential oil Aromatherapy use - with respect, simplicity and intention.
Culinary & Supplemental Young Living Essential Oils + Use
Only essential oils specifically labelled for internal use and produced to food-grade standards should ever be used in culinary or supplement rituals.
I choose these oils as a way to:
- reduce artificial flavourings
- avoid synthetic additives
- bring plant intelligence into everyday nourishment
How I use them:
- one drop diluted in water, honey or plant-based oil
- added to homemade recipes, dressing or warm/cold drinks
- always diluted-never used directly.
Where they belong:
- unconscious, minimal amounts
- as part of mindful routines, not excess
- never as a replacement for a balanced diet
Internal use is about quality, sourcing and moderation - not quantity.
Aromatic / Scent Use Young Living Essential Oils
"CREATING A CALMER, CLEANER ENVIRONMENT CAN SUPPORT HORMONAL WELLBEING."
Many women today feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and constantly " on edge"
Our nervous system carries a lot - work, family, expectations, hormonal changes, emotional experiences. Sometimes the body / mind needs small moment of calm.
And thats the moment where essential oils can become those small moments.
A drop of oil on the wrist.
A gentle scent in the room.
A quiet ritual before sleep.
What we breathe directly influences:
- mood
- nervous sytem balance
- sense of safety and calm
How I use scent oils:
- in diffuser - the olfactory system is deeply connected to emotions
- Rolls - on skin ( aromatherapy )
- to replace synthetic skin / body care - creating your own skin / body care
Skin & Body Use
The skin is the body's largest organ. What we apply to it matters, goes straight to blood stream.
Many women today begin to question what they put on their body and breathe in every day.
Perfumes, aggressive shower gels, deodorants, heavily perfumed lotions can add unnecessary chemical exposure to our daily life.
For women whose bodies are already going through hormonal changes - whether preparing for pregnancy, navigating fertility treatments, or entering perimenopause - this extra stress on the body may not be helpful.
Many of us simply want less noise for the body.
Les hormonal disturbance.
Les synthetic fragrance.
Less chemical overloud in skin / body care.
Less pressure on the nervous system.
This is one of the reasons I personally started replacing many daily products with simple essential oil ritual.
Drop of lavender or vanilla instead of artificial perfume.
Calming blend in diffuser instead of synthetic fragrance.
A gentle home made oil / butter / lotion blend instead of heavily fragranced body products.
Essential oils as daily reminders.
For many of us, essential oils become more than a scent.
They become small rituals that remind us to:
- breathe
- slow down
- reduce unnecessary toxins
- support our nerves system
- create a calmer home environment
Over the past decades, many researches have been exploring how environmental factors may influence hormonal health and fertility.
Modern lifestyles expose us daily to synthetic fragrances, preservatives, plastic, and other chemicals that were nor present in the same way in previous generations.
Some of these substances are being studied for their potential role as endocrine disruptors, meaning they may interfere with the body's delicate hormonal signalling.
For women who are preparing or pregnancy, navigating fertility treatments, or moving through hormonal transitions such as perimenopause, many choose to reduce unnecessary chemicals exposure where possible.
" reducing toxic load "
it simply means becoming more conscious of what we breathe, apply on our skin, and bring into our daily environment.
